What you can export from Finances
In Reports › Finances, the Export button offers three options. Export current view (CSV) downloads the table as you see it, with columns by channel or by period and with your own row labels if you changed them. Export finance close (PDF) and Export finance close (XLSX) build the close document for the whole range, meant to be sent to your accountant.
Operational or financial close
When you export the close from Reports › Finances, you pick one of two types. The Operational close is a per-day or per-month summary with sales, payment methods, number of sales and average ticket, meant for running the business. The Financial close is the full detail by section, channel and VAT rate, meant for accounting and reconciliation.
The two types download with different file names, so they never get mixed up even when you export both for the same period.
What the financial close includes
The financial close from Reports › Finances has the same rows, amounts and order as the table on screen. It first shows the table with Store, Web and Delivery columns; then the same rows broken down by channel and provider; and finally an Appendix with the taxable base by VAT rate, VAT by rate, net by payment method, payment processing commissions and the net paid by each processor.
As on screen, subtracted amounts are shown in parentheses. In the XLSX version the main totals are kept as formulas, so you can check how they are worked out.
Which filters the export follows
The CSV export from Reports › Finances copies the current view exactly. The PDF and XLSX close covers the whole selected date range and follows the Payment type filter: if only Cash is ticked, the close includes only cash payments; with every type ticked, it includes everything. Custom row labels never reach the close.
