Create a menu and edit it per channel
Create a menu, build its customer menu and employee grid, and publish it to your devices.

Create a menu
Open Product library › Menus and click Create menu. It only asks for a name and the locations where it is served; click Create menu to save it.
The customer and employee layouts are built afterwards, each in its own tab of the editor. You can add or remove locations later with Manage locations; a menu needs at least one location.
Edit the customer and employee layouts
In Product library › Menus, open a menu with Edit menu. At the top you pick the channel:
- Customer: what your customers see on Kiosk and the web. Create sections with Add section, add items and combos with Add items, and drag them to reorder. Each item has actions to edit its details, hide it in the menu, move it to another section or remove it from the menu. The preview shows the menu as the customer will see it.
- Employee: the Register button grid. On each cell you can change the size, the image and the background color.
In an item's details you can set the Price charged on this menu, which replaces the item's price on this menu only. The version for delivery platforms is built in Product library › Platforms.
Publish your changes
What you edit in a menu is saved as a draft ("Draft saved") and reaches no device until you publish it. When there are pending changes, the menu shows "Unpublished changes" and the Publish button turns on: one click publishes them to Register, Kiosk and the web.
Force reload is a separate action: it asks devices to reload now and shows how many are online, but it publishes nothing.
Menu and section schedules
In the menu editor, click Schedule to choose when the menu is offered: select the days and add one or more time windows. With no day selected, the menu is always available.
In the customer layout you can also limit a single section to a time range with Add schedule on that section. Without ranges, the section is always available. A section schedule applies when you publish, and the preview flags sections that are outside their hours right now.
