Set up the kitchen and KDS screens
Define how tickets move between stations, the order they are read in and how each kitchen screen behaves.

Station flows
In Operations › Kitchen, open Station flows and pick a location. Choose the Flow mode:
- Parallel: all stations see the ticket at once, each preps its own items and Expedition closes it.
- Sequential: the whole ticket travels station by station, in order, and ends at Expedition. Stations with no matching items are skipped.
- Off: orders show on every kitchen screen.
Add stations and drag them to order the line; Expedition is always the last one. Click a station to choose which items, meals or modifiers it prepares (empty means everything) and, with Appears after, which stations must finish first. Click Save flow. Changes apply to new orders only.
Order of the lines on the ticket
In Operations › Kitchen › Tag priority you order your catalog's tags to decide the order in which each kitchen ticket's lines are read, for example grill, fryer and drinks. You can also order the modifiers within each line and the sections of the side summary. Anything without a tag shows at the end.
This order only affects screens on "Custom order". If some are not, the screen tells you and you can set them all to that mode at once.
Settings for each KDS screen
In Operations › Kitchen › KDS settings you see the kitchen screens in the selected locations. Click Edit on one to change:
- Station: which station it belongs to.
- Catalog filter: which items, meal deals and modifiers it shows.
- Ticket timer: when it warns and when it marks a ticket as late.
- Print kitchen tickets when an order is completed.
- Hold scheduled orders until there is just enough time to prepare them.
Click Save & reload device: the changes are pushed to the screen immediately.
Kitchen display names
In Operations › Kitchen › Kitchen display names you can rename products for the kitchen screens only, for example with shorter names. Pick the language, type the Kitchen name for each product and click Save. Changes reach every KDS in real time.
